• Founding a local economic development organization
• Fostering a two-year business plan
• Compiling a land and building inventory
• Developing an expansion/retention program
• Passing a local economic development ordinance

In addition, the Certified Community award comes with funding and technical assistance from the New Mexico Economic Development Partnership so that our local communities can put their ideas into action.
